Distribution Boards (Cubicle Boards) Suppliers and Exporters
These boards are manufactured from combination of 14 & 16/18 SWG sheet steel, extensible, free standing, totally dust tight, vermin-proof, enclosed cubicle, flush dead front and of modular construction suitable for 3 phase 415V 4 wire 50 Hertz system TN-S neutrals grounding. As shown on Drgs all boards are accessible from the front or and specified in the equipment data sheet, considering easy maintenance of switch fuses, bus bars, cable terminations, meters etc. Cables entries are both from top as well as bottom. The panels are mounted on a 75mm high base channel frame, CNC machine pressed with punched openings for meters etc. .
All sheet steel are made rust free through a process of degreasing, derusting, phosphating, activation etc. The panels are finished with powder coating of approved color. The feeder details , capacity and danger signs are engraved in plastic/aluminum labels.
The boards accommodate air insulated bus bars, ACB, MCCB’s, SF units with HRC fuses, starters, meters, relays, contactors etc. are arranged in suitable tiers.
The switch boards are totally compartmentalized in vertical tiers whicj houses the feeder switches in enclosed independent compartments. Each compartment is self- sufficient with switch unit, fuses, contactors, relays, indicating lamps and optionally inter-locked door with facility for padlocking. Each switch or MCCB or ACB will have provision for locking in the OFF position for life safety. Each feeder will terminate in an independent labelled terminal block. All power terminals above 16 sq mm are stud or bus bar type. All terminations are shrouded in an approved manner Main switch Operating height is limited to 1850mm maximum and 300 mm
Bus bars are three phase and neutral and of copper or aluminium or aluminium alloy as specified and shown on drawings and rated for a temperature rise of 35 deg C over the ambient temperature specified, (IS:8084-1976). The main horizontal bus bars are of uniform cross section and rated for the incoming switch. The vertical bus bars for the feeder columns are rated at 75% of aggregate feeder capacity or maximum working loads connected to the branch. Bus bars and interconnections are taped with PVC color coded sleeve for identification and to prevent accidental contacts. Bus bars are shrouded and supported on non-hydroscopic insulator blocks to withstand thermal and dynamic overloads during system short circuits.
